Q: If i don't have local experience, is it wiser to look for smaller or bigger companies like the international ones that operate outside of Canada?
Q: I have been working as an engineer for a big company for about 5 years. How do I ask for a promotion to a senior engineering position?
Q: How can I facilitate getting my P.Eng. working in small company?
Q: In the computer field, does a degree or P.Eng. matter?
Q: with so many people out of work, one vacancy has hundreds of applicants. How do you process the application and how one can overcome the hurdle, that is, the applicant's resume get on top over the others?
Q: In my current role, I am under a non-compete that does not allow me to leave to work for a competitor for 1 year. How enforceable is this condition, and how risky would it be to accept a role with a competitor?
Q: Do HR departments use software to screen out key words to hire applicants? If one is to write a resume very relevant to the job description as advertised using the same key words, is this advisable?
