• Marco Pavone, an assistant professor of aeronautics and astronautics at Standford University, is in the process of developing technology to help robots adapt to unknown or unfamiliar environments.

• Dr. Adebola Olubamiji has become the first African American Ph.D. graduate of biomedical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. She received her Doctorate Degree June 5th, 2017.

• Strawbees Hovercraft: The World's Fastest Recycled Toy - This Hovercraft kit hovers at 25 MPH over land or sea. This hovercraft cannot necessarily break since it can be easily fixed with materials in your trash can! This is the perfect hovercraft for those who like to add their own spin on things and it is made of easily accessible materials.

• SoundSafe - This anti-theft device gives you peace of mind when you are at the beach or any other busy location. Not only does SoundSafe keep your possessions safe, it also plays music and charges your phone. With an alarm of a 200-foot distance, there will be no more thieves running off with your belongings.
