- Young robotics engineer Khaled Al Sharif has landed a job with NASA only 2 years after beginning his internship with the space agency as a student in 2016. He is now working for the Intelligent Robotics Group at NASA exploring topics like planetary mapping software and human-robotic interactions.
- Alexandra Meikleham, Master’s student at the Schulich School of Engineering has earned a $3 million National Student Fellowship for her focus on improving engineering education worldwide.
- The MBLOC is a common memory storage device for all your electronics. It can fit in your pocket, has a simple interface, and can be paired with up to 7 devices for easy storage and access wherever you are. You don't even need an internet connection to use it.
- The Bartesian is a handy in-home cocktail machine that eliminates the need for complicated drink recipes. You simply insert a capsule and choose your strength to get a cocktail in minutes.
- HAVEN is a smart lock for your home that claims to be more secure than a deadbolt. The lock is anchored at the base of the door to so it can stays locked when regular systems don’t succeed.
