- Air conditioners are playing an increasing role in global warming. Engineer Roland Dittmeyer, lead author of "Crowd oil not crude oil" is exploring the possibility of making air conditioners that soak up greenhouse gasses while cooling.
- Chad Greenham, an engineer, is advocating for the reopening of the School for the Deaf in Newfoundland and Labrador, which he says was vital in his ability to become an engineer.
- TrapTap is a tiny device for your car that warns you about speed traps, school zones and red light cameras (legally).
- BondicEVO is a small plastic welder that can be used to quickly fix leaks, bond materials that glue won't hold and fix plastic items, and more.
- The Sautoo-IPX8 waterproof wireless earbuds allow you to listen to music or take a phone call while swimming or taking a shower, and they are 100% submersible.
