• Engineer David Denkenberger is preparing to feed earth’s 8 billion people in the event of a nuclear winter. He estimates that up to 80% of earth’s population could survive without sun using alternative food sources like leaves, wood, mushrooms, and deep-ocean fish.
• Leslie Dewan, with a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering, is looking to revive the molten-salt reactor from the 1960’s in hopes of using nuclear energy to solve climate change by generating electricity that’s cheaper than coal and carbon free.

• OGarden Smart is a fully automated garden that allows you to grow up to 90 fruits and vegetables in your home.
• The Stemoscope is a wireless smart stethoscope that lets you listen to the world around you. It can be used to hear sounds in nature, animals and your own body.

• Coldharbour Tiles are luxury tiles made completely from recycled plastic. The eco-tiles come in different shapes and colors and can be used for walls and decoration while they reuse material that usually goes to waste.
