- Professor Amy Bilton and her team are designing a passive aerator for fish farms. This is one of the research projects carried out under the U of T Engineering innovative water research program. Find more about their #EveryDropMatters campaign.
- Hossein Montazerian is a researcher from the UBC Okanagan’s School of Engineering that is creating artificial bones using 3D printing. He's working on the next generation of artificial bone designs and finding the right biomaterial to be used.

HEXA is a programmable robot with 6 legs, a lot of sensors and a 360º endless spin that, along with its Linux based ecosystem, has great flexibility for developing and building any project in the robotics field.
- Jetblack is a drone that fits in the palm of your hand, weighing only 135 g with battery and an HD camera included. It has cool features like having the drone follow your drawing on the mobile app.
- D2K Insight is a personal high-resolution 3D printer that allows printing without a computer with the help of its touch screen. It can also be controlled using a smartphone or a web browser.
