Pick an Association & Apply
Apply with your provincial engineering association. Not landed yet? Apply in your desired province (you can switch it later). Submit the initial documents, like transcripts, references and proof of identity. Your association will then perform an academic assessment.

Write the NPPE
The NPPE is a law, ethics and professional practice exam. It consists of 110 multiple-choice questions and takes 2.5 hours to complete. Submit your Experience Summary

Wait for board approval and licence
All your documents are in, and you've met the licence requirements. The final step is board approval which can take 1-2 months. Once you receive your licence, it's time to celebrate!
