Located in the Nation's Capital, Gavin Simone, P.Eng. (AB), LEED AP, created Practice PPE Exams in 2012 to help aspiring engineers get licensed soon in Canada.

Background: Gavin has worked tirelessly with aspiring engineers, geoscientists, technicians and technologists to create courses, services and free resources to help them with their professional accreditation. The process of obtaining a designation can be time-consuming and is constantly changing. Gavin keeps a close eye on the updates to the exams so that the products and services are current, straightforward and highly useful to you the aspiring professional.
Before starting Practice PPE Exams, Gavin worked in the construction industry for 9 years and has been published in several magazines, including Construction Canada Magazine.
In 2012, he volunteered with Engineers Canada to help it and PEO to develop and test the Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) reporting system. He devotes 100% of his working time to aspiring and licensed engineers.

Being the webmaster for Practice PPE Exams for 8 years, Afonso brings a wealth of experience delivering e-learning content. He has been instrumental in making the course lessons load quickly, implementing modern navigation, closed captions for videos and an exam-like quiz experience.
Rose May Igdon-Vallinas, Engr.(PH)
Licensing Coordinator
Rose is a Chemical Engineer in the Philippines with a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering focusing on Biomass and Biofuels Engineering. She has worked on biofuel production from agro-industrial residues, which received first place at the Young Scientist Competition during the Asian Congress on Biotechnology in 2019. Through her work and past experience in environmental compliance as well as her teaching work, Rose plays a critical role in helping our clients with the NPPE, CBA and technical exams.

Markie holds an Honours bachelor's degree in humanities specializing in justice, political philosophy, and law, with a minor in peace studies. Markie adeptly integrates her knowledge into the Practice PPE Exam material by applying her comprehensive undergraduate expertise. Her commitment to bridging theory and practical application showcases a nuanced understanding of the subjects, underscoring her dedication to clients' NPPE success.
