About Practice PPE Exams
Canada's Licensing Advisor
Practice PPE Exams was founded in 2012 in Canada’s National Capital Region by Gavin Simone, P.Eng. (AB), LEED AP.
We saw the same problem over and over again:
engineers weren’t failing because they lacked experience — they were failing because the licensing process itself is confusing, fragmented, and constantly changing.
Our goal:
Our mission
We support engineers at every major stage of the Canadian licensing journey:
Our courses, tools, and AI-assisted workflows help applicants:
- Understand what regulators actually expect
- Avoid common rejection traps
- Submit strong applications with confidence instead of guesswork
Independent from Regulators — Built for Applicants
Since 2012, Practice PPE Exams has helped 25,750+ engineers move through the licensing process faster and with greater clarity.
