  2. Hi Gavin! This might not be very unique but I use a rubber band to hold my compost bag in place in the bin. The bag would often fall in as heavy stuff was added, so using the rubber band prevented that from happening.

  3. I use rubber bands to close & store bags of storable food items air tight in their original packaging. This helps me avoid transferring them to storable containers and reduce the amount of plastic needed.
